Reset my Microsoft 365 password
If self-service password reset is enabled on your tenant (most are), you can do this without calling anyone.
- Go to passwordreset.microsoftonline.com.
- Enter your full work email ([email protected] style).
- Complete the captcha.
- Pick a verification method — usually a text to your phone, an email to your backup address, or an Authenticator approval.
- Enter the verification code, then choose a new password.
- Password rules: at least 12 characters, mix upper/lower/number/symbol, and not one you’ve used in the last 5.
- If self-service reset isn’t enabled, the page will say so — call whedo.it.
