Cancel a print job that’s stuck

If clicking Cancel didn’t work, the queue needs a harder reset.

  1. Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners → click your printer → Open print queue.
  2. Right-click the stuck job → Cancel. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. If it’s still there: Win+R → type services.msc → find Print Spooler → right-click → Stop.
  4. Open Explorer to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS — delete everything in that folder.
  5. Back in services.msc, start the Print Spooler again.
  6. Job is gone. Print again.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
