Cancel a print job that’s stuck
If clicking Cancel didn’t work, the queue needs a harder reset.
- Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners → click your printer → Open print queue.
- Right-click the stuck job → Cancel. Wait 30 seconds.
- If it’s still there: Win+R → type services.msc → find Print Spooler → right-click → Stop.
- Open Explorer to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS — delete everything in that folder.
- Back in services.msc, start the Print Spooler again.
- Job is gone. Print again.
Still stuck after those?
