Approve an MFA prompt on my phone

Looks slightly different across iOS/Android/Authenticator app vs SMS. All variants below.

  1. Microsoft Authenticator push: phone shows a number on the sign-in screen — tap that number in the Authenticator app, then approve.
  2. SMS code: code arrives by text — type the 6 digits into the sign-in page.
  3. Voice call: phone rings, automated voice asks you to press #.
  4. FIDO key: tap the physical key on the side button when prompted.
  5. If you never receive the prompt, check the phone has signal/data and notifications aren’t on Do Not Disturb.

Still stuck after those?
