Set up Outlook on my phone

Use the Outlook app, not the phone’s built-in mail app — better security, better notifications.

  1. Install Microsoft Outlook from the App Store / Play Store.
  2. Open it — tap “Add account”.
  3. Enter your work email ([email protected] style).
  4. Tap Sign in. Enter your password.
  5. Approve the MFA on your phone (or the Authenticator app on it).
  6. If it asks to register the device with your organisation, accept — this is what lets you access email and is required by Conditional Access.
  7. Set up notifications: tap your initials (top-left) → gear icon → Notifications.

Still stuck after those?

You’ve done the right thing by trying. Send whedo.it a quick note — what you tried, what you saw — and a senior pair of eyes will be on it the same business day.
